WORKSHOP BUILD

Three and a half working days into the project, and things are starting to come together. To remind you, it's  10 feet (3 metres) high, 16.6 feet (5 metres) long and twelve feet (3.5 metres) wide.

Yes, they are cows in the field behind, and sheep in the next field. If you look South from here you think you are in the middle of a Rural countryside. If you look North or West you are in a Maritime world, whilst to the east: the Presili mountains.

Pembrokeshire is a fantastic county populated by the nicest people. It's a privilege to live here.

    1. WELL SPOTTED, David,

I can't get an import license for Widget "C" but,If you look closely, you can see that I've used a compromise between Widget "B" and "D" to bridge the gap.

      That makes sense.

  2. You are truly in a gorgeous place, John! And your workshop is coming along so well.
Thank you for your note on the continuing saga of the three geese. Not sure how much further I'll take them with painting, but a Hansel-and-Gretel-type story is mulling around in my head ...

    1. Thanks Kathryn. Your geese seem to take on a life of their own once they're painted. Like characters in a book: they seem to take over once you introduce them to the narrative

  3. Glad the rains cleared up. Good start. The rough goes fast; the finish seems like it takes forever. Happy hammering.

    1. I know, but there is an early flush of success in the rough. I'm still an old fashioned 'boatbuider' a few nails and mostly joints and screws.

  4. Good golly...I can't see the pics! Little 'x' in the spot. Two days in a row I'm having some issues with some blogs I visit. Not sure if it is my service or what!! But I know you are a go getter, John. The studio will be fabulous!!!
