Colour? Color?! Am I at the right blog? Wish I could see it better, but your great draftsmanship is evident for sure. Glad you are back, and up and around, old chap. (Do y'all really say "old chap"?)
Dear John, your ballooning flew ... with great efficiency! I hope you can indulge in all your activities with the verve and the humour that you, after, tell us ! See you soon, Rita. I look forward your painting...
Looks great John. Is that a "shadow" frame? There seems to be some depth between the picture and the front of the frame. Interesting. It is nice to see one's work framed and installed. There's a lot of satisfaction that people are enjoying your efforts.
It is GORGEOUS!!! So, did you add the colour? Or did they do it on Photoshop? :0)
ReplyDeleteHi Sandra, No it was all in pen with coloured inks

ReplyDeleteHi Dan ... yes it's me in colour!
DeleteWe always say old chap when speaking to Americans, they love to think we speak that way, and we hate to disappoint old friends :0)
Cheerio!
It'd drawn in coloured inks - I'll pop the original image in the next few days. Thanks for your kind comment, Sandra

ReplyDeleteI don't know, Linda. I sent it rolled in a tube - the framing was done in the US. All I've seen is this photograph
DeleteThat's a wonderful painting and they did a great job of framing it. Looks like a regular frame with double mats. Fun to see your work framed.
DeleteIt's a drawing using pen & coloured ink, Cris, Framing looks good doesn't it?
