Grace Completed

I'm reasonably happy with the painting. For a second attempt at oils it has moved me along the road a stage further.

When the paint is dry I shall scan her in for a better picture; photography tends to reflect from the paint and does the painting no favours.

I shall paint a Daisy and a Lily next... not flowers but great granddaughters!

  4. The children really love it when you paint them! You did a wonderful job on this red haired/blue eyed darling who looks like she has her own opinions.

  5. Beauty and personality - she has them both in great quantities and your brush has captured them. Lovely work, John!

  6. I absolutely love your children portraits! You manage to get an old and soft feeling. This is really your best area of painting. Wonderful!
