Your work is so very fine. You are a truly accomplished artist. I love how alive and expressive your portraits are. A bad photograph just deadens the subject, but a portrait makes them forever living and vital. I am honoured that you left a comment on my little triptych featured on my blog. x
I know just what you mean about the photo John, sometimes we just can't get an accurate photo of our work, usually because of reflected light which I think is the case with this one. That said, I can imagine just how good this painting really is and I'm amazed at it's relatively small size. The accuracy of detail you've achieved is what I would normally expect to see on a much larger canvas. Great work as always.
Absolutely beautiful, John!!!!! Well done!
