Will be trying to get around to my long lost friends blogs in the next few days. Just hope you remember me! ... meanwhile... I'm painting again, but not on canvas but on "Seagull"
For those that don't know, I've been building this wooden (No Tupperware boats here) boat for over a year now. It's a 16 foot Maine Lobster Boat.
What fabulous colors, but will the water hide all that beautiful red color? Did you brush or airbrush? And...what type of paint? Curious mind wants to know.
Hi Julie, thanks for popping in. The red is anti-fouling paint ans self-polishing - like a petticoat it will show glimpses! For full detail on the paint here is a link to my write-up on how I did the paintwork http://techssimboats.blogspot.co.uk/2017/08/patriotic-red-white-and-blue.html
I'm SO glad you are back John! I hope you are feeling much better and on full form again soon!
