I'm not slowing down, overall. As I approach 90 <giggly chuckle> I continue to work a seven-day-week. OK so my eyes have stopped my progress in art, nevertheless, I am lining up eye surgery to reverse that.
The secret is stay diverse in your 'play'. By doing a Masters in Naval History in 2022 I am able to write a book now on the Royal Naval Air Service 1912 - 1918. This keeps me busy as I am already writing the Balloon Book (see 3 Aug 2025 entry) and doing a Masters of Law.
I don't expect people to understand how I see these occupations as being 'play' and not 'work'... but I do...gets me up early each morning.
Why do I keep making these random posts? Well I'm loath to close this blog...it was a link to a number of talented people for so many enjoyable years. I guess it's like putting a message in a bottle...setting adrift in the blogosphere... and hoping it washes up on one of those good peoples' blog-shore.
